Forklift and Stand up Hi-Lo

Responsibilities 

Our busy warehouse is seeking experienced, Full Time, Stand up, industrial machine drivers to work in our central warehouse facility to accurately and efficiently maintain the smooth functioning of all operations including shipping, receiving, and picking. Activities may include but are not limited to: loading and unloading, scanning, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. Also responsible for counting and inspecting the product, and notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and will be expected to perform all duties as assigned.

As part of the Adorama team, associates are expected to meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, and quality. Associates are expected to comply with all policies and procedures as well as site-specific policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Loading and unloading goods Moving goods packed on pallets around the warehouse facility
  • Stacking products in the correct storage racks,
  • Checking loads are secure
  • Stacking empty pallets
  • Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment

Work Environment 

  • Very fast-paced environment
  • Work with and around moving mechanical parts
  • The temperature in the fulfillment center may vary between 60 and 90 degrees, and may occasionally exceed 90 degrees

Basic Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to follow directions
  • A high degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment
  • Basic communication in English
  • Must be able to lift 51+ lbs
  • Able to work in all weather conditions
  • Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, reach and climb
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours or more per shift

**Background Check Required**

Wage: 

 $15 an hour and $17.00 after a successful 90- day of service and then follows three reviews a year on the first two years of employment.

  • Company benefits after 90th day

  • Three national holidays pay after 90th day 
  • After three years of employment:  80HRS PTO, six national days, and up to 9 company holidays

Schedule

  • This job is a full time must be able to work OT and Sundays when needed
  • Flexible Schedule 
    • 6:00 am to 2:00 pm 
    • 12:00 Pm to 8:30 pm 
  • Must be able to work Overtime on Sundays during peak season.
