The Lighting Sales Associate is responsible for helping our customers find appropriate lighting solutions that meet their needs. They also have the patience to listen to and understand the ultimate goals of the guest and then point them in the right direction with gear and advice.
Provide an extraordinary guest service experience for everyone who enters our store
Build customer loyalty, by ensuring that all guest questions are answered and all guest needs are met
Participates in appropriate training and development classes and is interested in developing product knowledge
Maintains a clean, neat and professional workstation
Responsible for the prevention of loss or damage of merchandise
Exhibits working knowledge of electricity and lighting principles
Knowledgeable of lighting materials used in production and photography studio settings
Outgoing, positive, enthusiastic, attitude
High energy level
Enjoys being with and working with people
Ability to clearly communicate to guests.
Understands and utilizes basic selling skills to properly engage and present solutions to our customers
Adheres to all company policies procedures & safety standards
Performs other related duties as assigned
Flexible schedule/ability to accommodate retail schedule which includes nights weekends and holidays
Skills and Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience working on set as a photo assistant, grip or gaffer, preferred
Knowledge in grip from various manufactures like Matthews and Avenger
Hands on experience with major flash and constant light manufacturers such as: Profoto, Broncolor, Dynalight, Hensel, Lowel, Arri, Mole Richardson, KinoFlo, Lite Panels
