Job Summary

Customer Service Associates are responsible for helping customers find solutions to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services. Additional duties may be assigned per business needs.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Accurately accept/process:
    • Customer returns and exchanges
    • Cash/credit card/check transactions
    • Adorama Pix shipments
    • Used item requests
    • Buy online pick up in store orders
    • Pro Service orders
    • Google Shopping orders
  • Answer/screen calls and emails from the off-site customer service team
    • Answer off-site customer service questions
    • Forward calls to sales team specialists when needed
    • Consistently check/answer voice mail
    • Consistently check/answer email
  • Follow up with customer orders via email/phone
    • Resend emails for orders that haven’t been picked up
    • Send emails for delayed orders
  • Follow up with orders that have already been paid for but not yet picked up.
    • Communicate with customer for pick up/cancellations/refunds

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in a customer service role.
  • Fun, dynamic, and friendly personality.
  • Cash handling experience.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and motivational skills.
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and multi-task as necessary.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays and special events.
