The Human Resources Operations Specialist completes administrative duties for the human resources department of Adorama NYC, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry. This role requires a blend of creativity, ability to collect and prepare HR reporting, coordinate and implement programs and support the Director of HR. The goal of this position is to improve the overall employee experience by strengthening the operational foundation of HR for the company.
•First point of contact with all internal and external HR related inquiries or request
•Maintain the digital copies of employees’ records for all companies
•Coordinate and schedule meetings, HR events, and maintain agendas/meeting notes for Director of Human Resources and Chief of Staff
•Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions for all companies
•Ensuring the effective utilization of plans related to HR programs and services
•Supports with the performance review and termination processes
•Supports with the recruitment and interview processes utilizing ADP WFN, and is involved throughout the entire workflow for new requisitions
•Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)
•Participate in HR projects (e.g. help organize a training or job fair event)
Skills & Experience
•Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
•At least 3 years of experience working in HR/Payroll/Benefits
•Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
.•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
•Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
•Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
