Customer Service Associate


Job Summary

Our busy  Elizabeth NJ facility is seeking a Customer Service Representative responsible for helping customers find solutions to inquiries, concerns, requests about products and services. This person will be the bridge between customers and technical employees.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Accurately accept/process:
    • Customer returns and exchanges
    • Cash/Credit Card/Check and familiarity with Paypal transactions
    • Used item requests
    • Online, Amazon and eBay order inquiries
    • May perform basic duties in other areas of the department
  • Answer/screen calls and emails from the off-site customer service team, including:
    • Answer off-site customer service questions.
    • Forward calls to sales team specialists when needed.
    • Consistently check/answer voicemail.
    • Consistently check/answer email.
    • Consistently check/answer eBay messages.

Follow up with customer orders via email/phone:

  • Follow-up with pending issues on both the customer’s and company’s side
  • An optimistic problem-solving approach

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in a customer service role
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Positive, Driven and People Friendly
  • Strong English Speaking and Writing Skills,  Spanish a plus
  • Desire to learn about photo equipment a must; experience in photo equipment a plus
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and multi-task as necessary
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including  some weekends, holidays and special events

Environmental Requirements:

This job does include working at a desk with a semi-private partition, it does, however, operate in a warehouse environment. Routine use of office equipment such as photocopiers.
