Email Marketing Manager

We are looking for an email professional to own the Printique email marketing channel. They would create, implement, and optimize all acquisition and retention email marketing campaigns and triggers, overseeing all aspects from copy and design to technical development. They would also develop and launch a robust SMS marketing plan to drive engagement and conversion. This role will require a strong blend of analytics, innovative content creation, and campaign execution to drive customer engagement, retention, and growth.

 

Our Email Marketing Manager will be a data and results-oriented marketer. Experience working in marketing technology platforms/CRM systems is a must, along with a growth mindset and a deep understanding and passion for experimentation. This role will sit on the Marketing team, but will work alongside Product and Digital teams to develop and execute strategies that translate user behavior and metrics into results-driven email strategies. This position will report directly to our VP of Marketing.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize marketing campaigns from ideation to deployment to drive engagement, lead generation, conversion, and retention
  • Develop cohesive email creative and a strong shared brand voice in the end-to-end customer email journey based upon brand guidelines
  • Test and optimize current email segmentation, creative, and personalization to better engage, retain and reactivate customers
  • Create and design various CTAs and email templates
  • Plan and maintain the email calendar with stakeholders in conjunction with the overall marketing calendar
  • Monitor email KPIs such as open rate, click through rate, conversion rate, opt-out rate, and CPA for individual and overall campaigns
  • Present weekly and monthly performance reporting
  • Work with Adorama email team to develop monthly dedicated emails
  • Remain up to date on latest industry wide and Klaviyo email marketing and creative trends
  • Build out SMS program from scratch - campaign and trigger strategies to complement email comms

 

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in marketing, growth, advertising, or relevant fields (internships included)
  • 5 years of experience creating the strategy and executing campaigns within a marketing automation or email marketing platform
  • Experience working with ESPs, building out lead nurturing, lifecycle campaigns, and automations
  • Proficient knowledge of best A/B testing practices
  • SMS strategy and execution skills
  • Strong proficiency with Photoshop or other design software
  • Strong writing skills, email copywriting experience a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and experience for creating data-driven decisions through A/B testing, campaign reports, dashboard and analytics
  • Knowledge of email best practices, CAN-SPAM, GDPR,  and CCPA
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Keen sense of curiosity, organized, and highly collaborative
