Project Manager

Adorama, Inc. is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager, focused on digital and eCommerce projects, to join our team. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, organizing and leading all aspects of project management. S/He will provide focus and tactical direction, and manage execution of projects assigned to the Project Management Office, which may have enterprise wide component. This role will lead multiple project teams; allocating and monitoring tasks, motivating staff while applying project management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to drive the development and application of project management methodologies

The Project Manager with assume full ownership of the project throughout the complete lifecycle including closeout. S/He will partner with the business and IT to come up with creative solutions using the latest technologies available for environment. S/He will need to provide detailed documentation in all areas of the project including but not limited to Plan, Budget, Risks, and Quality.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent time-management and problem-solving abilities who thrives in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to gather the requirements for the development of new projects or enhancements.
  • Reporting project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Developing resource and financial view of the project to ensure

appropriate resource and budget allocations.

  • Driving projects from end-to-end standpoint and key contact point for stakeholder communication
  • Acquiring signoffs from business partners/stakeholders in terms of

requirements, change management, user acceptance testing, and go-no-go decisions.

  • Responsible for scope and change management for the project(s).
  • Managing dependencies and supporting cross-organizational group needs and expectations (i.e. Testing, Training, Production Deployment & Support, Help Desk, Third Party Vendors, Partners)
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • PMP Certification a plus
  • 7-10 years of project management experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of retail E-Commerce experience
  • Experience in full lifecycle ownership, including but not limited to: Team, Plan, Budget, Documentation, Quality
  • Experience managing multiple teams/projects
  • Experience working with offshore and multinational teams from USA, Eastern Europe, India
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Excellent client-facing English skills (written and verbal)
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
  • Leadership skills and proven ability to own a project from start to finish
  • Ability to work independently along a fast-paced offshore team
  • Working knowledge of SAP hybris, Oracle ATG, Adobe CQ or any comparable commerce platform
