Merchandise Support Associate

The objective of the Merchandise Support Associate is to ensure that merchandise is quickly and efficiently delivered to the sales floor.  This business critical position involves retrieving items from multiple stockrooms on multiple floors and assisting in the loading and unloading of merchandise deliveries to the store. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure products are easily accessible, constantly available, and properly distributed to the appropriate salesperson selling location in a timely manner
  • Contribute to the profitability of the store by receiving, handling, and helping to manage the inventory of merchandise and supplies in a timely and organized manner
  • Check merchandise and supply deliveries for accuracy, verifying that quantities received match shipping documents
  • Support stockroom organization by ensuring accurate labeling, logical placement, neat arrangement, and cleanliness
  • Assist in merchandise replenishment of the store as well as the picking of items to be sent to the New Jersey warehouse. 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be focused with on time delivery and deadlines
  • Able to lift items up to 50 lbs
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time to multiple floors and stockrooms
  • Process driven individual with an attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Must have Sunday and evening availability
  • Ability to consistently arrive on time for scheduled shifts
