To keep pace with the increased demand for cinema, tv, web series, documentary, commercials and video content, ARC is making exciting new upgrades to our two new rental facilities and operations in New York City. We moved to a larger, ground floor space in the heart of Manhattan, doubled our team of experts, made the checkout process more convenient, and  opened our new 18,000 sq. foot rental facility in Brooklyn.

Job Summary

The Lens Technician is responsible for the Maintenance, cleaning and quality assurance for all our Professional Cinema, DSLR and Medium Format Lenses.

Responsibilities and Duties


  • The intake, examining, labeling, servicing, and storing of returned department specific equipment.
  • Reporting of any damage found to the Chief Repair Technician as soon as it is discovered
  • Respond to priority needs of Equipment Packers to facilitate on-time delivery of gear to the customer
  • Correspond with Clients and other Departments to trouble shoot and or explain technical issues and other related questions
  • Efficacy in communicating and dealing with high profile clients.
  • Maintain a friendly and professional appearance.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned to meet our business needs.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must have 3 + years of experience in video / photography industry
  • A technical Degree is preferred
  • Knowledgeable with Cinema / DSLR / Medium Format Lenses
  • Provide exemplary customer service to both internal and external clients
